A nickle for Nancy

Well got out today for a hour and a half but was really hot but digging was pretty easy now cause of rain two days in a row . Anyway here's the only coin I dug its a dirty old 1939 nickel from my nickle patch there getting slimmer going to have to dig some pull tabs out of the way to get anymore .

Harold

Nice find keep it up and I know what you mean about the heat it is so miserable to be out in it here.

:clapping: Yea, another nickel find!!! Isn't it weird that the only coin was a nickel. How about that! That's one good machine you've got. ;) Hopefully the weather is going to break and it will be nice to be out while hunting.

It's going to be a bit longer for me to be able to go detecting. The General hurt his leg again and it could be a while till he can be out and about. :stretcher: The Veterinarian will be doing some testings and x-rays in the morning.

Thanks for sharing and HH,
Nancy

If you're looking for sympathy Harold, you may be waiting awhile. JK Nice nickel...again.

Hope the General gets his leg fixed , hard to believe a dog that big could hurt himself . Hope the x-rays come out good . Its really hot out there right now the early morning is the time to be out there but I am not a morning person so I just try to get a hour or two in under the shade trees right now . You would think with all the nickels I been digging there would be some silver dimes and quarters in that area too but haven't found any around that area yet . I noticed a lot of the nickels are reading a VDI of 16 or a jumpy 16 to 18 with the SEF 8x6 coil on my MXT . I did dig the 1945 nickel the other day with the D2 I got from Larry but all the rest I got with the Sef coil . There is a swimming pool up the hill and across the road I dug over 100 nickels around that pool last two summers but none were older than 60's.

Good Hunting all

Harold
