A nice weight,,,,

Went to a different beach for 2 hours. Not my favorite because the bottom is thick, packed mud and a pain to dig and slow going. But, I have nothing to whine about with the yield. A heavy 14Kt gold band weighing in at 6.5 grams (about $125 in gold at today's price) and a custom bracelet with some gold accents.

Great looking finds Steve... Do you use a sifter with that type of bottom? I can't stand my sifter and only use it if the bottom is clay based.

I agitate the heck out of it in my scoop with the scoop mostly in the water. In my experience, the metal separates fairly easily from the clay/mud and falls to the bottom of the scoop. That's where I found the ring and the coins.

I missed a couple of days on the forum and I'm 2 days behind on posts. WTG and keep 'em coming big daddy!
