A nice rare find for 400i in Ireland.:detecting:

Hey guys this coin is a Name Stanley 1708 first edition penny .Mr Stanley cast these coins on the Isle of man (channel islands) it was not for some years later they recognised as legal tender by main land Britain.very happy with this coin .thanks guy and thanks 400i

hello joe thank you for nice comment .I detected that wonderful coin seven weeks ago .It was 430 pm gets dark at five in january regular spot close to home bandon river loads of history attached to it .IN places along the river bank its collapsing .the river bank it self was a dump for near by town that goes back pre viking im lucky in that respect but i have to stick to to the beach sea shore .As it.s ilegal to detect on the sod,the main land.getting back to the find a new part of the river bank had fallin so my self and two dogs and my 400i set off.the coin was depth of the head of my spade 10 inches. 78 nice and steady, solid double beep .TAUGHT IT WAS A BUTTON then i seen the three legs .Once i googled it i was very happy indeed can not fault this detector excellent .thanks joe hope i did.int waffle

Hello john Daniel here from kinsale co cork ire.Iv been busy renovating a house here in kinsale .ain't had had a chance to detect and I feel it man .It is so good for body and even more so the mind.I received my delivery of my nel tornado on my birthday. Àny tips on settings for my trusty 400i and Nell tornado for beach and field would be greatly appreciated. Thanks john .Daniel
