i haven't been out for a while due to family visiting & I've been researching some good looking spots lately so i was chomping at the bit to get wet .
today was a stunner no wind & a very low tide just after midday made for perfect hunting & after i found the right spot the targets started flowing, i found the usual items tabs, sinkers & junk with some nice pre Ds coming out a 1942 threepence, 1912-1931-1943-195? Penny's i also got about $12, a few of the cool items i found today were a 50 kopeck coin, a NZ 20c & a 10 apaxhai coin with a unicorn on one side Phoenix on the other it's got a silver ring through it so was probably worn on a chain i just love this coin as i like mythical creatures.
in the ring department i found one stainless & a 18k gold band it's my first gold for a while so I'm quite happy.
all up i had an awesome day out & hopefully I'll get out a bit more from now on.

doindadiggin yeah i had my fingers crossed when i spotted the 193? then i wiped the sand away one year off owell maybe next time i tell ya what if it had been a 30 i would have sold it off to $6000 would do nicely right now.
