My husband and I took our 2500s to a "park" we have been given permission to hunt. We've been there a few times and always come home happy. Today was no exception. A gold class ring, a silver ring, 1943-S nickel, 8 wheaties (1936-1950) and a total of $7.42. Also, found a "Southern Coach Lines, Inc. Nashville - Good for one fare" token. It's about the size of a half dime. Overall, a very pleasant day. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
 
I`d say you did real well. Nice variety and some nice oldies.
 
Most of the parks around california are hunted hard. WTG looks like you had more fun then the law allows <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
 
We have found a bit of silver there, too. A few mercury and Roosevelt dimes and a couple of silver quarters from the mid 40's. Here is our haul from the first day we ever went there...
 
...and the next day (8 Dec 04) we went back again and found all this...(including my husband's first silver quarter and my first half dollar!). We totaled nearly $19.00 in the first 2 days out there! I don't believe the place has ever had a coil over it until we arrived. It's our little secret!
