A new Tesoro owner

It's official now, I own a Compadre

my first impressions: it looks like a toy and discriminates like a beast, it's very light, it's very sensitive and it's very hard to believe it only works with only one knob

I have to go out and test it as soon as I can :)

LOL ... welcome to the world of a very competent "toy"! There is a lot of information that the little toy can give about a target and it is fun to hunt with. Does not take long for it to pay for itself!

My Compadre reminds me of a little Chihuahua dog when it finds something and sounds off.

You're going to love your Compadre.

Put a bright dime size decal on the center of the coil. It helps with pinpointing.

By the tests I did, the Compadre is what I was looking for, a great "minimalist" machine. I have to go out now several times and prove it in the fields.
I'm beginning to understand why Tesoro users identify themselves with their machines.

6-7'' are perfect for my dense soils, I'm already loving it

The Compadre is often over-looked and under-rated. But it's a "killer" machine!! In trashy areas, it will "snipe"-out the goodies!
