A new forum member with a ??? about Fishers

My line of work I spend 6 months in Florida where the mineralization is non existent and 6 months in upstateNew York along the Hudson River where the mineralization in some area's requires a good deal of [ ground balancing ]... Depth is not an issue with me for I am only interested in targets from ground level to 8" with a machine that has good target seperation where trash is not a problem.

The only reason why I have never bought a Fisher is that I enjoy digging iron trash { I have seen many a good item that was a keeper that was iron } dug from 300 year old homesteads in New York.
Can anyone be of assistance with which machine would be best,or maybe two.

Thank You

I really enjoy my CZ3d. It is fairly simple to ground balance and it does have a salt water setting for the Florida experience.
It is a pretty easy machine to use and the results are really outstanding. I usually only have iron troubles if I try to talk myself
into thinking a bouncy, one way signal is a good one. I am a curious kind of guy and can't help talking myself into digging some
of the questionable targets. I am sure there will be a lot of suggestions but keep the CZ3d in mind.

HH, Don

Absolutely can't go wrong with the 3D. Sounds perfect for both of your applications. My favorite detector.

If you like easy to use from the start you also might like the I.D.Edge as its a great detector in iron and has a tone for it if you want to dig it
and it gets great depth in about any soil cond.

the only machine i know of that won't find iron is the minelab sovereign and some models of sovereigns you can turn the iron mask off. cz would be great for iron because of the different tones.
