A new car !....and a little gas $

Alright the car's a hot wheel but it's a Ferrari 599 GTB and it's all mine ! ( actually only until it gets cleaned up and donated to a children's org. ) Had some fun doing a methodical second check of 2 spots I'd done before. $ 3.83 in clad with a 52' nickel and a 66' dime but no silver. I was thinking I had a good shot at some wheats so I was digging EVERY penny signal ( as you can see from the 58 I dug ) and was pulling out coins from as deep as 5"-6" but no luck there. The most interesting finds were 2 broken rings ( ? ), a partial knife handle and 2 silver beads. I'm not sure if the beads are real silver or not. No stamp but they are solid,non-magnetic and give a reading of 73 on the VDI. The knife handle has a picture of a Colt AR 15 ( M16 military ) and it has "TOPS" printed and "Unique" written on it. It appears to be made out of cast aluminum. If anyone's ever seen one before or knows anything about it feel free to get back to me. Thanks and enjoy.

Looks like you had a good hunt! One of these days you'll pull a silver coin out of the ground. I've got a Ferrari or two or three.....That's cool that you're going to give it a new home. What a great idea! Thanks and HH, Nancy

Thanks Nancy. I like to make as many of my finds as worthwhile as possible. All of the beach toys that I find I give to Goodwill and the small toys I run through the dishwasher and donate. I am giving the toys to a school program for low-income children. I am trying to find an org. to donate them to for sick and terminally ill children. If anyone has some info or one that they know of that accepts used ( but clean ! ) toys, please let me know. It's a good way to make some of my less valuable finds into real treasures.

I don't know what your knife handle is, I think top could stand for 1st Sargent it looks like it has a star at the pointed end which could be a symbol for a 1st Sargent
there were 6 stripes and a star in the meddle of his patch there were two I believe e -9's one had a reef around the star, it dosen't look like it was something issued,
a possible gift to a 1st Sergent or something he bought for him self, or maybe none of the above It was a neat find what ever it is, hope you didn't mined me speculating
