Hi, All:
I got me new F-75 at the end of August. It's been very dry here and I haven't wanted to yard hunt and end up killing some grass by digging plugs. I decided to hunt a field that is used by the local high school marching band to practice on. The whole field is about the size of two football fields. Half of it is stripped like a football field, so it's pretty easy to grid the area. I spent the last month hunting it and getting used to the F-75. It's not an old field, but I'm sure it's never been hunted. I found coins as deep as four inches. I ran in DE mode, discrim. set at 5 with sens. set between 70 and 80. It ran nice and quiet. Here's my total for the month:
Pennies: 95
Nickles: 60
Dimes: 82
Quarters: 49
Sacagawea Dollar: 1
Total 287 Face value $25.40
I also found two medals from the band members and a nice silver ring. I really love this machine and can't wait for some rain so I can go yard hunting for some older and deeper coins.
Thanks for looking and keep on diggin'
