A modification worth doing

I found that I was constantly tightening the coil nut because the coil was moving while using in light brush. Solution: I drilled the lower rod hole and the ears on the coil to 5/16 and now use the nice large thumbnuts and bolt that come stock on the Explorer II. The grommets are the same as on the Explorer so you can use the ones that came stock on the X-70. This is rock solid in the woods and brush now!
