One of the towns just a stones throw from me has one of their streets torn up. It's in an older section, just a short block from a river. Under the blacktop was concrete, and under that was stone and clay. I only found some newer pennies where the curbs were, but not much else. So I detected the road itself. There's lots of broken up signals around except for this one that registered as a button. I was really surprised when I cleaned it up at home. It's a post Revolution Massachusetts State Seal. #32 in Alberts button book.
