A long ride pays off

Got a personal invite from TigerNed to detect a private farm. It was a long ride for me but well worth it . Drove for close to 3 hours, radio playing 60's and 70's songs , Time flew by! Met a great asset to our hobby and had a great time. Besides typical old farm normal finds I did find a few good coins and 1 older button. The coins 1 1956 wheaty ,1-1952 Washington quarter, 1-1907 barber dime and 1-1902 barber quarter. The ride home seemed even shorter.

Wow ! I like the barbers.

A new friend for sure, hopefully I will find a place in the Myrtle Beach area to invite him to. Button seems to be A Royal Italian Navy Button around WW I or II. Not as old as I hoped, I'm going to ask land owner if she wants it seeing the land has been in her family since 1700 Thanks for looking Ted

airfitter,

The honor was mine. So happy to see you do so well also. Just think, we didn't even put a dent in that place, and I'm telling you, some of those fields will pay off also. If you really want to, we can put that button in the Crab Trap..LOL You know what I saying. Need to bait the trap so we can get positive permission for house # 2...... Hopefully someday I can get down your way or maybe we can find a place halfway to meet up and hunt...

Ned

Airfitter you are in the myrtle beach area? That's close to me.

Awesome finds the barber quarter if cleaned properly is in perfect condition "liberty" is highly visible. That coin is worth a little something

Congratulations on some excellent finds.

An awesome hunt any day of the week !
