A Little Work, A Little Play And A Few Keepers...

Sooper Dave

I had to do some work around my Wife's Great Grandmother's house today. It is not a real old place, but I have been meaning to look around a little. So today after some yard work and gutter cleaning I got to search the small front yard. I have never dug so many pennies out of such a small area! Found 5 Wheats, the oldest was 1931. Dug a "NO CASH TOKEN" with an Eagle and a Shield. Also dug a whole Christmas Tree with all the trimmings and presents, just another reminder that it's just around the corner. I did manage to squeak out two silvers, A 1952 Rosie and a 1941 Merc. It was a great day here to work and play. HH

Great yard hunt Dave. Congratulations and thanks for the super pictures.

Thanks Dale, I did not have time to look in the back yard. The family also owns the house nextdoor, it used to have an old house on it. So it gives me some new places to go when I'm there working.

That's a lot of digging and from the looks, well worth it!!!
