A little trouble with ACE 250

Went out hunting behind that same high school i found 2 qt, 4 dms 2 nik 19 pnny also a 1966 ELIZEBETH II five cent also says BAHAMA ISLAND, its round with a weard shape, any way my problem, sometimes when i set the ace down to dig a plug it turns off and today sometimes it would not turn back on, i tapped it a little bit and it went back on i have good batts it just started in the last 3 hunts, i hope its not waring out i cant afford a new 1 now Z

Sounds like you have a battery contact not making good contact. Check inside ~ you may have to bend the contact in a little. Be careful, the center battery contact can fall out.

Nope. Ace 250 the only one I have at the time.
