A little Silver

Went to a couple of small city parks today. Dug up $2.95 in clad and a few zinclons. Dug a piece of a ring that had been hit by a lawn mower. Thought that it might be silver but it was bent so badly and almost half was missing I could not see if it had a hallmark. Got home and attempted to straighten it and broke it. Oh well. It is marked 925.

That there is a trophy Geo! Your finding tiny scraps of silver, you are set up right...we've all found rings that went through a mower, fun to try to discipher the scatter pattern to try to get all those little pieces..nice work there!

One of my 'lawn mower' rings was a 14K marijuana leaf shaped ring. I was happy to detect the ring but really bummed that it had been chewed! Luckily, it was complete and gold is gold even if you have to scrap it!!
