A little silver and copper today

Love the Bell, dimes and the SLQ! But that 2 Center is absolutely Beautiful! That is a great find, you had an awesome day, Congrats!

Its funny, the bell came from an 1820 farm house. The farmer that gave us permission to hunt it had the biggest kick following us around, watching us dig this stuff up out of his front yard. He was amazed. His family had owned the house since 1860. I ended up giving him the bell and he really appreciated it. I told him " hell you were probably the one who lost it" LOL. Meeting nice people like that is almost as great as diggin up old coins.

Congrats on the great finds ! :clapping:

Nice finds. That 2 center is stunning. Amazing the condition are in when they come from a yard and not a field. Congrats!!!.

Awesome finds, and it is odd that most two centers hold up so well, makes you wonder why? Even the ones I have dug from fields normally look good.

Its also odd that most large cents I find aren't in very good shape. They seem to have more corrosion instead of the nice green patina you find on 2 centers or injuns.
