Had a good day out with my hunting buddy Shay. I forgot to take the camera to the site with us, so I don't have a pic of any of Shay's finds.
Site is an old house (1879). Found 38 wheat pennies, mostly at 5". I was getting tired of seeing the pinpoint depth coming up at 5". Not really because that meant it could be silver too. I didn't think I was going to get any silver. I must've dug at least 20 of the wheats before I got the 1st silver.
Here's the whole haul

Silvers are 1940 Merc, a 1944P war nickel, and a 1951 Roosie. Also got a 1902 IH at 7" deep. That's pretty deep in my area. I rarely dig coins past 5". A 1951 dog tag. 2 tokens, A gold ring and another ring that I'm pretty sure is silver. It's the exact same size as the gold ring. The one token looks pretty interesting. On the front it says "I love Jim Darlene TRUF 143" and it has an American flag in the center. On the back it says "Good Luck". My guess is that it's something from WWII.

The Gold ring rang up as hi-coin at 5". I just thought it was another wheat penny. Dankowski says that the 3D is designed to take some gold items out of the trash range and put them up into the coin range so that you'll dig them. This may be proof of that. The ring has stamped in it "Duplex Solid Gold".

A pretty good day overall. Lots of digging and that's what you want.
