A little relic hunting in mo.

Finally got to hunt some. The GB just tears it up as a relic machine. It is quickly becoming my favorite MD. Most of the lead was deep. And the thing I really like is the high iron tone on solid stuff such as buckles ,O rings, knife blades. And so on. Thanks for looking and HH.

Nice real nice !!!!

What kind of depth are you getting? How is your soil mineralization?

I'm running around 54-57 on mineralization. And depth wise around 8-10 inches. That's in Disc. mode gain 100 disc 45.

Awesome finds Pat!!! Looks like your were right in the midst of a campsite!!!! Great job on the finds. The Tek G2 is the best. and most user friendly detector that I have owned. I have owned the Garret ACE 250 and the AT Pro, The Minelab Etrac and the Fisher F75 ltd. The G2 is my favorite.

I haven't picked up another detector since I got my G2. Of course, I have been field hunting and it was born to do that. I have a question. What is the round thing with the bar across the opening on the lower right of your photo? I have found several of them and from the looks of your relics my old farm site is of a similar age. I was curious if you knew what it was? Thanks, for posting.

I have been told those are weights for uniform tails. to keep them hanging straight.

Always goes as deep and the size of the target.
