A little off topic, but treasure none-the-less-Duck Treasure!

Dad, David and I went duck huntin' on saturday the 16th of Dec. My 2nd duck in my limit of 5 had what we duck hunters call "jewelry". I have been duck hunting with my father since I was a boy and have yet to get my jewelry, but it is a milestone and on my priority list of treasures to obtain. The band has a phone # and serial number for the bird. When I call the number and report the information, I will receive a certificate from the Fish & wildlife dept., that will detail where the bird was banded and when and possibly it's estimated age when banded. This information helps them to track the migration patterns for the birds. If ya'll are interested, then I will post the letter info when received. Yes we eat ducks! Their real good too!
