A Little More Rescued H2O Gold

Hi Guys,

I decided to revisit one of the local swimming holes and check for any new deposits. This spot gets worked over quite frequently by some of my local competitors so I didn't expect to find much. But the weather has been hot so I had a good excuse to jump in the water and cool of a bit (Plus get out of doing some badly needed yard work). After dredging up a few pull-tabs, I spotted a 14K band resting in the bottom of the scoop ... made my day! An hour or so later, I got a nice deep coin hit ... ended up being a cellphone buried under a foot of sand. My ATG loves cellphones .. too bad they're not worth anything after laying at the lake bottom for a couple of years. Then came a deep nickel hit which proved to be another 14K ring. Two paces away came ring #3. It was small with a purple stone and looked to be gold but was only 10K gold filled. Overall ... not a bad day for a hammered spot. Here's a pic ...

Have fun out there!

Wow, that's a great day, Dave! Way to live up to your name!

WTG DD,
2-14K's and one gold filled ring is a nice way to spend the day instead of cutting grass. I wanted to head out today, but I have a sick Mama to look after. On the bright side, as long as I'm cooking for her and doing the laundry, I don't have to get out in the hot sun and cut the grass. I just got my lawn mower out of the shop and it's raring to go, but I'm in the snapdragon stage today. Half of me is snapped and the other half is dragging. I never miss digging when I think it's a nickel because sometimes it turns out to be gold. HH.

good work on them there rings, congrats and is there a significant other that laid claim to the feminine one lol
