That's a beautiful shot John. I'm thinking of buying extension tubes for my lens. It would be cheaper than a new macro lens and I believe I might get some decent shots that way.. Any thoughts on this?

Lots of folks are using extension tubes on their high quality zoom lenses with great results. You get a decent distance from the subject which helps a lot when insects are involved.
