***A Little Lead and Spanish Silver surfaces***

I was out today with my digging buddies Dave and Mark in the western part of the state of Virginia where we have been very blessed to make some incredible civil war finds (US belt buckles), and other other period buttons, and coins. The property we've been given permission to detect dates from early 1800s, and colonial coppers have been dug on this site as well.

Today, was a first for me, I dug my first Spanish Reale-1790, it sounded clear as a bell and thought I had another period lead bullet, boy was I surprised when I saw the ugly mug of King Carlos IV.

The coins are out there, but you need to sweep slowly and dig all targets.
