That's pretty sweet. I wonder what the "lost pinpointer alarm" is/does? I can almost see one of them in my future.

Nice to see its orange and not yellow. I will have to get one when they come out. I have been using my propointer and it's the 1st one I grab . I have the Trx but never use it. If I use one of my detectors that has a Sunray pin pointer I use that. But when not using a Sunray pin pointer it's the propointer I grab. GS

Is there a release date? I'm in desparate need of a replacement PP!

Backup or replacement? You can send it in and Garrett will fix your PP to like new condition at a fair price if it's out of warranty. If you decide to do that I'll loan you one of my back-up PP. Detecting without one is no fun at all. The best thing that I ever did was buy one of those protective covers for mine. It works great!

You're right - a backup is more like it! I just sent it to Garrett after I took it apart and snapped two connectors off the circuit board thanks to the 3-year old LOL

I sent them a note and offered to pay, but I got a new cover over the old internals and it worked great until I hunted in the slop two weeks ago. My fault...

I've grown accustomed to pinpointing by vibration now, and don't lose much if any recovery time - it's amazing how you can adapt to this hobby if one or more of your senses are impaired/compromised. This is why night hunts are so much fun when it's not too cold!
