A Little help please guys... Which water unit was the best made of the 3 ????

And by best, I'm interested in the one that is hottest on gold and has the best depth also... Was it the original stingray... Stingray II or the tigershark?? If memory serves me right, wasn't the S R II the most desireable of the 3?? Of course, it would be used for freshwater hunting only.

Any thoughts?? Mark ( ohio )

I never owned the sting ray but the tiger shark can pick up small gold necklaces, earrings of that sort, I absolutely love it, I have the 10" coil on it and works great no problems a solid performer, I do have the Atpro but I rather use my TS any day!

Mark, I have a Stingray inboind as I type this. Let me get a few hunts under my belt and I'll let you know.how it does in Arkansas fresh waters. I have numerous swim areas and hunt everday.

I'll also do some air testing on herring bone necklaces my wife has to see how it does. I know my Cutlass uMax hits hard on nickels and gold so my hopes are high :)

I really miss my Stingray II. I sold it an got the Tiger Shark. I personally never got along with it finding (my unit at least) was a little erratic and chirpy. The Stingray II had very good depth and was stable as you could ask for. I don't know what circutry the Stingray was based on but the Tiger Shark is Based on Bandido Technology, which one of those I don't really know.
