A little help for Cortes users

I was having a hard time reading the text under the bars so I put markers (colored electrical tape) at the zink penny and nickle marks. Haven't tried it yet but looks like it will help. Jabbo

Good idea, and I like the color code. I have taken some of my machines and made information labels with a label making machine because having several machines don't always sit right in memory. They last years.
On the Cortes (on it's way), I will probably get one of those credit card size magnifying do-dads and stick it on the faceplate. The eyeball ain't workin like before. I hope in the future I won't have to carry flash cards due to the eyeballs and brain power.

Isn't that the truth. I learned all the numbers on my SovereignGT and then the numbers on my T2, now I am trying to remember all the TIDs on the F75 and have a Cortes somewhere in a UPS truck...
I'm with you on the Silver uMax, I am bidding on one on Ebay... the one the guy won at a MD competition.

I am a guitarist too and we call the disease of buying new guitars, amps, and pedals: "GAS"... Gear Acquisition Syndrome. It's the same with Metal Detectors I think...

A good idea Tab, on the cc magnifier. You might also add some dabs of spirit gum or clear silicone
caulk under the card to lift it to the best magnifier height, since as you know, those cards have an
optimum height for maximum enlargement.
Best 'o Luck!
