Hello All! I just came out of the surfline and I thought I would share a few pictures of my hunt tonight. I had a great time and it was a metal detectorists dream tonight on the beach. Not much wind, good low tide, and lots to find. Tonights tally came to one 14k mens gold pinky ring with 15 small diamonds (at least it looks like ice from where im sitting but...who knows), a 10k gold heart (found with the pictured silver chain (925)), and a silver heart pendant with crappola stones. Most everything came from the wet sand for those of you keeping track of the fine points. Thanks to everyone for all the help and advice you give me....looks like Jess will be in the water with me soon!

that's some good stuff, my gold has been lacking for about two months now, but the silver keeps coming. maybe I'll get a gold soon, Gene
 
Keep on em Gene...I have 3 bad hunts for every good one at least (if there is such a thing :p)
 
Yeah GH Im pretty sure I'm gonna get another Excal for her. I thought maybe a PI as a backup unit but I dont think she wants to dig every rusty nail this side of Cuba...Im keeping an open mind but I love my Excal.
 
Well, ever since I bought Gulf Huntress an Excal, she would never consider going back to her PI again. She is spoiled! I have seen that woman dig over 100 nails(PI), back when we used to dig it all, back around '05. She runs an 800 and I have even switched over to it exclusively, I LOVE IT! Jess will love it too and maybe you can use it fer a back-up, if she loses interest, but I wouldn't count on it, she is going to LOVE IT!

Hey Dig, great finds.
I'm going nuts at home,not being able to get out lately as I have renovating the old "el rancho relaxo".

I have not lost interest yet! ;) Even when I am out there with the Ace pulling up sparklers, and Dig is out in the water with the excal and pulling up all the gold... always an adventure. He is always a great Hunting Companion... matter what you guys say about him. :razz:
