A little detector trivia and lingo I'm going to offer up for a spell..

Backshoot - A false signal generated in discriminate mode when the coil comes close to or the bottom touches a rejected target. You'll often hear a lot of these in junkie areas. The 250 does a bit of backshooting. That's why I wish it had "silent search."
