Greetings, all and everyone!
I was just out for a minute or two in the backyard (still under "training" w/Tracker IV: plan on getting the MOST out of the bugger) when I dug up a "Capt. Midnight Secret Squadron" badge about two inches down. Looked on the web and they were made in 1941 and distributed by Ovaltine for the radio seasons of '42, '43' & '44. It still has the clasping pin on the back, but is missing the little handles to uncodify the Nazi message therein. There was a pic of the good Capt. in the little square at the top of the badge when recieved. The recipient was then instructed to remove the Capt.'s pic and replace it with one of their own, thus securing ID status as a member of the Secret Squadron. Badges with the Capt.'s pic still on them and the rest of the badge still intact go for some $200 on ebay. Mine might be worth five bucks to some Midnighthead, but I think it's still a pretty cooooool find.
