Hunted with my buddy OBN today. First spot wasn't producing so we tried another beach. After pulling up some wheat pennies I got a really low tone on the Excal. Pulled up a nice 10K ring complete with a stone.

Now thats a nice old one! :clapping: I wonder what that stone is? Is it too pale to be a ruby? I dont know...might be some money in that big rock there for you too!:thumbup:

I'm not sure, but the wife swears it's a ruby. Going to get it checked.

Please let us know about the stone, Mike..it sure could be a ruby, thats an old ring, so the odds are in your favor it is...its a stunner!:drool:

Will do. I'm not getting my hopes up, but it's still a good looking ring.
 
With the stone, that is one very pretty ring. Congrats! Glad it came up with the stone in place.
 
Mike, if it is a ruby would you be interested in selling it. My wife of 42 years has always wanted a Ruby ring.
