A hunting buddy found these in a barn - ?? - posted on whats it also

hevent seen those things since I last watched "Cool Hand Luke"
Even have the keys with them, Way Cool!!!

They do look like leg irons don't they.

I would do some research on Google and Ebay. Age will dictate the collectibility and price. Nice finds, David@Dixie

Looks like leg irons, but for something hanging around in a barn for a long time, it doesn't look very old. The chain is shiney and the links look all the same size with a perfectly round circle that appears to be welded. I'm no expert so they could be from a 16th century pirate ship for all I know, but I wonder a little about the age. Still an interesting find either way.

I don't think those were made in the 1800's. The chain and loop were produced by more modern methods. The rest looks like it is faked.

May be there were some satanic worshipers sneaking into the barn. Or may be they are modern day slave marketeers. May be they made a CW movie near there.

Does your buddy like to pull your leg?

Just a hunch,

Tabdog
They're not leg irons, they're stirrups.
