a hot hour in the woods pays off!

yeah, it was hot... but worth it. visiting near the battle lines of the haw's shop/ enon church battlefield, i dug a nice silverplated [at one time] spur that took a horizontal rowel, instead of the usual vertical rowel. it's unmarked, small, and might be civilian. a nice crude three ringer, 1900 cent, and big rivet soon followed. a small piece of leather was still in the strap keepers, too. thanks fer looking, and hh!
 
WTG GG! Love that spur! You're a brave man to dig in this heat but it sure payed off. Congrats!
