A guided tour thru this year's finds... so far

Hi folks ! Season is far from over (I'm touching wood!) but since i was bored this morning, i taugh i'd made you a guided tour thru this season,s findings. There might be a few from previous season, but i sold just about everything last year to pay for the winter vacations... (not sutch a smart move if you consider this year's gold prices:( )

For starters, there is the mather of the security... please obey all directions from the security personel... your life might depend on it :)

Here is vault number one where i keep my ton of religious medals. Once again, most of them are from this season,s alone since i sold them in bulk on ebay :p

<img src="http://pages.infinit.net/fggl/tour2.jpg">

We now procede to vault number 2... this once contains the silver coins, some bronze coins and tokens on the first floor. On the basement are located all kind of might be reusable crap. The rusted ones goes into the trash bin.

Here are the silver coins again... a few war nckle form USA than contains a bit of silver too. It's fun to know that those coins are worth 7 to 8 times face value due to their silver content... not even considering the collectible value !

Among those, here are some of my favorites. There are a few from previous season... but once again, i did sold most of what i had or gave them away in one of our club hunt.

<img src="http://pages.infinit.net/fggl/tour5.jpg">

Here are some of the silver rings i tryed to resell at the flea market... some are gone and there are a few from previous season. One or two are made of the damn stainless steel i hope wont catch on :)

<img src="http://pages.infinit.net/fggl/tour6.jpg">

Some other silver items...

<img src="http://pages.infinit.net/fggl/tour7.jpg">

And we are now entering the gold vault. I keep them in a small box because i keep some of the silver and all the gold in a safe... need some space!

<img src="http://pages.infinit.net/fggl/tour8.jpg">

Here are this year,s gold once again... less a few the wife took away.

<img src="http://pages.infinit.net/fggl/tour9.jpg">

And here are most of my wife's gold jewels she is taking away. Usually she was supposed to take one out the box to put one in, but i see she is now filling the sides... plus the best ones are always on her fingers :)

Your a awesome hunter dude........you deserve it for braving those cold waters up there too.

For the old beaches ( beaches that were in use from the 20's to the late 60's but had to close due to pollution. raw sewage was throw directly into the rivers at the time. They are treating the water now and some beaches might re-open in a near future). Oups... long phrase...okay, for the ancient beaches with deep targets and lots of trash, i need the power and discrimination of the excalibur.
For the current beaches, my tiger shark or stingrayII are more helpfull. They can snaiff the smallest gold the excal wouldn't even break tone for. Also, our canadian clad is made of crappy steel with a thin coating of nickle or copper. The excal has a hard time considering them as money and often discard them. So Tesoro is the one for current soft water beaches.

really fine looking group of pickings! if i had gotten that much my wife would be pushing me out the door
