If you missed the two day hunt, you missed big time. As a highlight two Gold Rings, around 10 silver coins, many Wheat Cents, a few Indian Cents with the oldest 1885, and a hammered coin from the 1640's was rescued. No, there is no typo, it was 1640's. All had a great time eating, camping and hunting.

I rescued four wheat cents and a 1917 dime. Others will add to the list as they can.

Thanks for for the get hunt Steve!! I had a great time and I even rescued a few silver coins myself! Steve is right....If you didnt make it out this weekend you sure missed out!!

I would have loved to have been there. But the wife has me on a short leash until the twins arrive (could be any day / week now)... Glad everyone had a good time! The weather could not have been any better.

I didn't do too bad. I found 3 silvers, a junk ring, and 10 or more wheats. They were deep this weekend. Glad everyone had a good time!

A great time indeed, not only the hunting, but the camaraderie and the nights camping events (story time) as well............ not to mention the EATS.... yum. The club, Steve C and Pam provided and cooked the brats and side dishes for the hunts lunches and our clubs "Den Mother" , Nancy cooked up a big pot of potato soup Friday night, a giant pot of ham and beans with corn bread Saturday night and biscuits and sausage gravy Sunday morning. Star and Daryl cooked a crock pot of chili and TWO more pans of corn bread for the ham and beans as well. If anyone went hungry, it has to be your own fault.......

Jeff, Andrew and McLucky all went out of their way with their generous donations to the club. Jeff sponsored the green quarter hunt that McLucky found and won all of the great prizes Jeff donated and in turn, McLucky donated some of his good fortune back to the club's Christmas tin that some member will win at the Christmas party. :clapping: Andrew donated a Lesche digger that was added as an additional prize in the Sunday raffle.

Thanks to all and the hunt chairman Steve C. for a great fall club hunt.

What a great weekend hunt. A huge thanks to Steve C. for putting this hunt together. Thank you also Steve and Pam for giving up some of your hunt time to fix lunch for everyone. Thanks Jeff for your generous donation of the silver and other coins and Andrew for the donation of the Lesche digger. Thanks Nancy for the supper and breakfast meals. For myself, I ended up with the usual few dollars of clad, 3 silver, 1 indian, the 1600's hammered coin, and 10 wheat cents. It was an awesome weekend.
