My buddy Phil and I went to one of our favorite old parks and we both left pretty happy. I ended up with around $3.70 in clad, 2 silver quarters (1 '62 Washington & a '53 Canadian) a Canadian gold colored $1 coin. 3 tokens and a 2 oz. silver bracelet. All in about 2.5 hours. I love this detector! The real funny thing was the 2 silver quarters were in the same hole 6 inches down.
Phil found $4.50 in clad and a silver Rosey dime. He is using a M6.

Nice finds!

You have to wonder how someone could manage to lose something as big and shiny as that bracelet!

You would think wouldn't you???? Big chunk of silver Aaron.

(At my age then...I didn't realize she had wrists.) Aaron that will go down as one memorable find! Came up silver dollar?

Yes thats one for the records for me, and as far as the silver dollar, I'm still trying to find one! Funny you should that, today for the first time I found one of those 2000 gold colored US $1 dollar pieces with the indian on it. When I found it I just thought it was a quarter cause it was so dirty. When I got home and started counted up my coins I had all the quarters stacked up and one was bigger that the other I was like "thats no quarter". Bonus!
Thanks for the compliments guys!

Wow! .....that was a good day.

What mode were you searching in?
Were you using one of the factory preset settings?

I was using the coin and jewelry mode. The only thing I changed was I turned the tones on. I still havent made my own program. If you noticed I only found 2 nickels, that bothered me and I realized I must have been passing them up, and not paying attention to the low tones. I have been now really paying attention to the lows and finding more nickels, the vdi locks on them usually between 18-23. Yesterday I found $3.40 in a 1.5 hrs in the same park but this time I found 6 nickels!
Thanks!
Aaron

Aaron set you tones for VDI 18 19 20 the same as your dime or quarter tone and you won't miss them. Rob

Thanks Rob! Why didnt I think of that?
