Managed to get in a couple of hunts in today. One was out of town, the other was in Edmonton. Lots of signals, with some coins and interesting vintage digs.

Here's my three silvers, including a nice 1919 silver quarter in pretty good shape. I got a bit of a junky signal, however, the VDI numbers were reaching the 80's, so I dug and out came a nice broach. Too bad a lot of the stones had fallen out. Avon ladies used to make sales calls door to door in the 50's, and often time leave little lipsticks as free samples to drum up more business.

Below are some more interesting finds.

Great finds John ... love that old quarter !

Wow, some really nice finds. You must do a lot of research to find good sites. I'm starting to watch the newspaper, etc. for leads.

Great finds, John! Love the toys & silver!!

yes, great day and good hunting!
I be amazed at the amount of coins that you find ...I love the truck and find toys, always remind me of my childhood.
kind regards
un saludo

Good finds John, congrats.

All nice finds. They don't make toys like that tanker anymore! All the more reason to start a collection of things like those. They'll be worth something someday!
