A GREAT DAY AT THE BEACH --7 HOUR HUNT

TRIPLE-SSS

Well-known member
Went to the beach yesterday and had a great time. Hunted from about 5:00 o'clock till midnight with the low tide.Used my 1500 for the dry sand and the AT-PRO for the wet sand. Boy, the PRO really barks out at you in the wet sand when hitting the targets. I found the jewelry in the wet sand at low tide just at the edge of the water. The PRO does an excellent job finding those small pieces of jewelry that other detectors won't pick up. The recovery time is also a plus. I used my 1500 in the dry sand and it also did a great job finding those coins. Didn't even need to use my head light when it got dark with the full moon out.
Got a little excited for a second when finding those gold and silver coins, too bad they are only plastic. $3.31 in clad and foreign coin, a nice diamond pendent,1 inox stainless steel ring, an ear ring which I think is a 10k gold with a pearl, booth glove goggles, and the usual junk were my finds.
Over all, had a relaxing, good day. I took my time and just enjoyed the hunt.

HAPPY HUNTING !
TRIPLE-SSS!

Relaxing my foot! Detecting til midnight - shoot, my old arse would have been fast asleep.

Seriously, very nice finds and tons of fun. What beach, if I may ask?

Went to Galveston Texas,as far as relaxing, I've learned to take my time as not to over due it. I take allot of breaks . I'm pushing 60 and sometimes it does get to me if I make it an all day hunt. This old body lets me know it when I push myself too hard.
Stan.
