a good hunt in the woods today...

hello all, went out today for 3 or so hours, and found some interesting stuff. an old file knife , broken, was the first find. 2 small brass buckles, 1 small flatbutton, a .31 cal. pistol ball, i believe a kepi buckle, an old brass thimble, 2 percussion caps, a couple of unidentified brass items on top,[they remind me of u.s. bit bosses] 2 .69 cal. star base 3 ringers, and 1 shot .58 enfield. the holed semi - circular brass piece on top not sure of either, might be a boot cleat. if anybody knows, i'd appreciate it. its been a good day, tired now! thanks for looking, yer probably tired of seeing my posts, but detecting is in my blood, and i cant help it! hh,

Not bad Gray Ghost. A lot of keepers there, for only a couple of hours hunting. Collections build fast that way. I on the other hand, have only found 2 or 3 keepers, in two full Saturday's of hunting. It looks like drought season here for me. Next week will be different. HH
