A good day today

I took yesterday off from beach hunting but took advantage of low tide for a 2 hour hunt this afternoon.

The ring is 14Kt and I believe the diamonds are real. I am not sure what the main stone is but it has nice color. It might be Topaz or Garnet. Any guesses?

The #9 charm is not marked but is probably 14 Kt too.

The other ring is copper and the bracelet is stainless steel.

Busted a weld on my scoop thanks to the mud so I will get it welded tomorrow.

I love the ring Steve, Congrats :) Stone could be Pink Tourmaline or what you said and I am sure others will chirp in :)

It's either pink tourmaline or a pink sapphire...a jeweler could tell you for sure.

I would recommend that you pick up a MIZAR diamond tester off Ebay. They will tell you lots about stones and are not expensive. I find that my MIZAR will register 6 to 8 on Sapphires "0" on most other stones. Of course it goes to 9 or higher for diamonds and moisants. I have not yet run into a moisant and hope I don't as they get the heart going for nothing and are becoming more common. Guess I will get a tester for them as well.

My guess is that the charm is less than 10K so is unlawful to mark. I could be wrong on that as every now and then I find something higher that ins not identified. Maybe one in a hundred.

Outstanding !!!! Isn't tourmaline more expensive and rarer than diamonds ??? if so ,,,then you have a real hunk of a stone there..looks like 3-5 carats of pink stone !!! may wanna get it checked out for sure !!!

My 1st ever gold target was a necklace charm with initials on it like yours and it tested 10k too, so right on there. How about pink sapphire on the stone, for my uneducated guess. Great stuff.
