a good day south of petersburg with olddigger!

hello all. olddigger and i hit the ol' soybean fields south of petersburg again today, and had a good day. i pulled 15 sharps and 2 pistol bullets, 4 rivets, a neat brass padlock, 5 flatbuttons, an overalls button, a real nice finial, a perc cap, a broken j hook, a screw for a saw, a parasol piece, and 2 pieces of ornamental brass. once again, lead melt pieces came out in buckets. i think the shot sharps is the first shot bullet we've found in this field. it's a yankee camp for sure - the further east we move, the better the brass finds are getting.
