A good day at the Beach

OUTATIME

Member
Went huntin Saturday and Sunday, before I left for the beach on Saturday I remembered that I forgot to charge the battery on the Excal; so about two hours into the hunt I noticed it started acting crazy and that I was only diggin shallow targets (mainly coins). I did manage to find two rings (both cheap junk).

So I decided to go Sunday after Church, got there just a little after low tide, not exactly the best time; but the Good Lord smiled on me and let me find a few good keepers...got lots of hits, the neg tides must have washed about a foot of sand out between Saturday and Sunday!

The "T" is 10k gold and looks to be real diamonds and all, the ring is marked 417 or 10k gold, the frog...beats me, looks neat anyway! Also one of the earrings I know is silver .925. the others I'm not so sure about.

I bought a ring sizer stick on ebay soeveral years ago. Its handy not only for checking sizes, but you can actually "round out' a damaged ring with one. Just a little tip, the bent ring made me think of it. HH. Good hunt you had there.
