A good couple of days

The weather couldn't have been much better although it was a little humid today. I got out yesterday and today and hit a couple of hot spots that produced some goodies. In addition to the 7 silvers are three IH's,1885, 1906 and a 1907. 17 wheats and the token at the top is a good for 5 cents at S and S Restaurant........ no town. The Tootsie Toys (hot rod) always brings a smile on my face. Three of the dimes and the quarter came out of a yard with LOTS of iron but they were found and rescued with the stock coil and in Coin Ferrous. A 6 inch coil would have been perfect there but I don't have one so I had to go very slow and pick the good stuff out. I'm VERY impressed with what the CTX can do in the iron, even with the stock coil. :clapping:

Nice job Larry! Looks like a nice mix of finds and most importantly, looks like you had a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing and lets hope that this weather continues!

Very nice haul of silver. A six inch coil is an outstanding tool. I've been using it more than the stock coil. You will definitely need to add it to your Christmas list.

You really did have a couple of good days!

Sweet huntin' Larry - my hot spots have been rather "cold" lately - nice work!

NIce finds. I think I have a few of those old Tootsie Toy roadsters like your blue one. We don't get many IH's around here so congrats on those. Do you recall what they rang up? I got a 1905 Tuesday and it was in the 34-35 range. Pinpointed at 38.

My IH's ID the same as yours 34-35. I don't pay much attention to the pinpoint ID except when I get 12-42-43 in search. When I pinpoint and the numbers jump around, it is almost always a Memorial cent. If it locks on, it is a dime....... at least in my ground.
