A Good Clads Day

Today it was 94 degrees in the sun, but I found a curb strip in the shade -- about five feet wide and forty feet long, close to downtown.

I decided to give it a try with the Garrett GTI2500.

All clads, but the Sacagawea Dollar made it worthwhile.

No nickels, because I had them notched out (too many pulltabs).

For less than an hour in the shade with a good breeze blowing ... can't complain at all.

Cheers,

Joe

I guess I am getting old. I can not stand the heat and humidity. It is 95 here and feels like 104 and no breeze to help. Glad you got some coil swinging time.

Great hunt ! It's always a nice surprise to dig up a dollar coin . It's like digging up 10 Dimes in one shot . I wish I could do it more often than I do .

Nice hunt Gamma_Joe--

Sure like digging those $ coins - it beats digging 100 crusty memorials! Best of luck and...

Happy Hunting!
