A golden day

After several stormy and windy days here in Europe, today turned out to be a beautiful calm sunny day, the water was smooth as glass when I arrived at my favorite winter hunting hole. I hunted several hrs today..... targets were not as plentiful as the other day, but the 18 K gold was certainly popping up and I only dug one pull tab that had to be a first:)

The gold chain I found was just super luck, I believe the target that sounded of the detector was a stainless steel nut..... in the process of digging it up, the chain was nearby and both objects landed in my scope. I think I should have played the lotto today. HH

u and gulfhunter had the same angel ridin with u i think, great lookin nut for sure

Great finds. I'm starting to feel like I'm going to have to move. I think all of the gold in my area left town, lol. Keep showing good finds, it inspires me. Have a good one.

Wow! I have one pc. of gold so far this year - Calif has been very mild. Those broken clasps sure tell the tale, don't they?
