Here are some photos of the deck my brothers church is building for Brian. It was a surprise to learn that a group of men felt lead to do something for Brian. We certainly didn't expect this...a real blessing.
This the before picture of the back of our house. The window with the thank you sign in it will be replaced with french doors.

Construction is underway!! The guy on the left is a large general contractor here in town. These guys, about a dozen of them, worked pretty much non-stop from after church, about 11:30 until close to dark. I had to work but was able to thank most of them before I had to leave. I had a hard time concentrating at work knowing these guys were working so hard on their day off and I couldn't be there to help out.

My dad took this pic of the mostly completed deck. The ramp will be a real backsaver when Brian is in a wheelchair. Now I carry him to and from the house to the car and as he gets older, and heavier, and I get older, and weaker, it will become more difficult.
Also, when his leg is in a cast I have to be extremely careful not to hit it on a door frame, or tripping on a step when carrying him, so the deck will also help reduce the risk of additional injury. I'll post more pics as construction continues. The bannister, french doors, a ramp to the pool and stairs on the other end will be added later the next two weeks.

I ended up taking Brian in for an x-ray yesterday and it was negative. The doctor said it could be a very small hairline fracture and to watch him a few days. Now it is starting to turn red and swell a little making me think there is a small fracture. His clam shell brace will support it and a cast probably won't be needed because he doesn't walk on that leg now anyway.
Sorry for the length of this post. Thanks for your prayers and...
GOD BLESS!!
