A fun few days

I usually don't post my photos but I have not had the time to make a video so I thought I would clean up my camera disk and post some finds. I have this one area that I have hunted for over six years and each time I hunt I find relics or coins. Now that I have the g2 it seems I get a lot more targets that I think the LTD missed. But you can't ever hunt an area clean and that is what keeps me coming back. I try and dig all targets even no I have to cut my hunts short because I can't dig it all, all day and if you can't hear it you can't dig it...DIG?

So I hunt for say three hours and dig all the targets the g2 picks up and that way I clean the area at the same time. It pays off some days and some days I get just junk and trash and iron. And when we get our summer it will be near or above a hundred almost everyday...Lots of water and then I can only last maybe two hours. But as long as I am having fun that is what counts and as long as I can come home and put some of the history in my displays I am for the most part happy. And then lets not forget the detector that makes it more fun when you really trust the machine you are using. But I can't help but saying I wish I could go deeper and find all the relics and coins that may have sunk out of the range of my current detector. And while I am ranting how about more freq and a way to help even if a little how to tell gold rings from trash...

I had a post that I was in remission only to find out that after a CT scan they found my lymph nodes still had some cancer. So my Dr. told me the cancer it getting more aggressive and all we can do is try and get you back into remission and then see if Stanford will do a bone marrow transplant. Well it was like a tree fell on me but from what the doctor and I spoke about I am running out of time and one have more chance to fight this cancer. So you kind of want to keep going and not let anything stop you from fighting for your life. I feel bad every time I see the post I am in remission and now I have to post a retraction but I thank you all for your kind words and I will fight and still detect even while I go through chemo. Thanks again I will let you know if I can get the bone marrow but that won't happen till December...I will post a new video soon thanks for your forum friendships.

Lawrenzo --

Great finds, and more importantly, HANG IN THERE. I will pray for the chemo to work, by God's grace, and beat back that cancer, and for you to be able to get in for the bone marrow transplant if that's what the docs decide you need. God bless you, my friend -- you'll be in my prayers.

Low-Boy, nice hunt & a good variety of interesting finds. The spirit you show is an inspiration, and you can safely bet there are a lot of blokes out here thinking of you and wishing you the very best. Keep up the good hunting.

my prayers and family prayers are with you hang in there.

Hey Man, we are all thinking positive thoughts about you. Your energy and enthusiasm gives you a great edge in this battle. I know you won't ever give up. Awesome finds looking forward to your video. The spur is amazing.

Lawrenzo, that stinks! All our days are numbered (so to speak) and we never know what is in store for us as each day happens. I too pray that you will have many good days and a great life. I have really enjoyed getting to read your posts and watch your videos. It does make it seem like you are a friend, though we've never met.

I want to say, I appreciate your courage to discuss your health issues openly. Seriously, it serves to make the world a better place. That may sound odd, but silence feeds ignorance and ignorance breeds prejudice and prejudice hardens ones heart and that makes it easier for us to do and say stupid and cruel things. I am sure it would have been easier for you to say nothing. We are in your debt.

I know two people who beat esophageal cancer recently and they were treated at Stanford (great place for that sort of thing). They both said nutrition was a key in their survival and victory. Hey, I am a pastor I vote for prayer, big time. I believe we fight on every front if we want to win. Please consider this side of the battle as a critical one. Take care of yourself in every way! I would feel less than faithful not sharing this. I am not advocating any product or weirdness, just passing on an observation that is by no means original. God bless you brother! I want to see you on the victor's stand.

BTW, if you study drama/theatre, you have the classic story line- conflict, then seeming resolution but there is always a huge set back before the final victory and the hero triumphs! Don't give up!

Jesus said, "In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.

Positive thoughts and prayers sent your way, keep your spirits up.
As always thanks for the posts and finds, looking forward to your future videos and pics.
Best wishes.

Thanks for all that you do on this forum and your super cool and informative videos!

My family and I will pray for you! I have total faith you can do it again!!!

jesus said: behold! i stand at the door and knock:
if any man hear my voice, and open the door,i will come
into him!!" rev3:20

"my peace i give unto you. let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid." jn. 14:27

low boy!..jesus cares!..we all care!..may the grace of god be with you,and grant you the strength
of spirit to "fight" to get better!
