a forum member wanted to see this tool holder

Here is a pic of a tool holder I found, very, very durable, yet very cheap. Before I got my Lesche, I was using the same digger as this forum member was, see pic. It fits nicely in there. You can also put it in the opposite way with the blade outward. Now I use it to hold my Garrett propointer and a screwdriver while the Lesche is in its own sheathe.

Thanks osgood - that is just what I'm looking for...

I use the same 7 in 1 shovel made by True-Temper but that flared handle killed my hand. I cut the flare off just below the hole and took epoxy ribbon or mighty putty
and molded a nice smooth round handle that is much easier on the palm of my hand. Epoxy ribbon is sold at Lowes, Home Depot and probably a few other places. The epoxy
ribbon molds like clay and has a working time of about 10 minutes so you need to work quickly. In less than an hour you can have a nice smooth custom fit handle that won't wear a
blister on the palm of your hand. You may also consider taking a drywall screw and drilling it down into the middle of the handle to give the epoxy something to mold around. The 7 in 1
shovel is stainless steel, has serrated teeth that cuts grass roots like butter and even cuts through those pesky roots if you are detecting around trees. The only drawback when using
the 7 in 1 for treasure hunting is the flared handle. These trials sell for about $20 during the planting season but I found them on clearance for $12 at Lowes in late fall.

Been using those leather sheaths for years. They make one the fits your lesche really nice also so you can do away with that stupid sheath that comes with it.

Do yourself a favor. Take a razor knife and cut a half circle in the lower outer piece of leather as low as you can (being careful not to cut the stitching). This will allow dirt to fall out of the sheath.

Racer, thanks for the advice, i did notice they compact with dirt sometimes. Also I can tell that lesche tool cloth sheathe is disintegrating very rapidly. I only saw the one size but will go back and check for the larger one, thanks again.
