A first for me.

Got out for a short bit. There is an open field / lot at the end of my block that has never had anything built on it. I keep hunting it b/c an old timer told me they used to hold a carnival type event there back in the day. Ive pulled several wheats, a silver quarter, and a silver rosie, plus several dollars in clad out of it so far this year. Ive seen this place hunted before over the years by others but this just goes to show that you can truly never totally hunt a site out completely. Believe it or not, finding one of these is a first for me. And into the collection it goes!

And she's a beauty too! Congrats on the find. She must have been waiting just for you. Excellent! HH, Nancy

Congratulations Drew, those are fun to pull out of the ground aren't they?

Did you really believe your ID saying Half Dollar? More to come.

Thanks everyone. Im still actually in shock and now I want MORE  ! I actually thought i was gonna get stuck digging yet another 40 ounce beer screw cap or aluminum can. But, just goes to show that if your not sure, just dig it!
