A First For Me!:wiggle:

Larry and I went detecting an old place that I had found and I came home with 3 silvers to 1 Indian Cent. 1927-D Merc, Sterling ring with a stone, and a FIRST for me was the Sterling thimble. Only found 3 wheat cents there along with a small handful of clad. I couldn't last long detecting but I would sit in the truck and rest for a bit and then go back at it. Sure glad I did. On return trips is when I found the ring, the Indian cent and the silver thimble. :wiggle: The ground wasn't concrete and not too bad digging. I was surprised to see a green lawn. Thanks for looking and HH, Nancy

I love seeing a ring come out of the ground. But I have never found a thimble.
WAY TO GO.

Thanks plidn1. I was so excited when I saw it had "Sterling" stamped on it and same with the tiny ring. HH, Nancy

Thank you Crimson1, We've hunted yards for years and I've found a few thimbles but none of them were silver. I was dancing for joy. I hope you get to find your silver thimble also. HH, Nancy
