Just realized there's a section of a park I can hunt that has some history to it; late 1800's. Oddly enough, it's seems like no one has hunted this place. I hit a deep silver sounding tone between a lot of trash (with the Platypus) and I couldn't believe it when I pulled out my first Merc! ('39) Not too long after that, I pulled out number two! '37 Silver is pretty hard to come by around here so you can bet I'm going to be pounding this area any chance I get...

Total take for the day around $7 and change, a Canadian quarter (that sure looked like silver at first glance) and a badly decomposed button
