My wife went out for a run tonight and left me with the kids. So I loaded the boys up in our double stroller and let my daughter entertain them as I figured I would swing the coil a bit in the yard (as I know I have more goodies hiding just need time to get out there and swing). I got a shallow 12-23 to 12-28 signal. figured eh who knows.. I flipped the plug over while my daughter stood over my shoulder looking and I said holy $*** as I saw the three III on the back... I never thought I would find a three cent piece. She is busted but she is a keeper in my book!! I was so excited im still smiling thinking about it!! Ends up it is an 1853 Three Cent Piece. I found the button then about three targets later all within a 5x5 area that I was working slowly with my 8x6 coil. I have never held a three cent piece in person I had no idea they were so small!!! the button and the three cent piece are about the same size.. button rang up 08-10ish

Very cool! I would excited to find that too, broken or not. Maybe you could make a cool pendent out of it or something. Congrats!

Wow, in your own yard...

Yeah there used to be an old tavern/hotel on my property back in the 1850's I have found multiple seated silvers/injuns/largie

Just need time to hit it a bit more

Way to go Neal! :clapping::clapping::clapping: She's still a beauty and the part that's missing gives it character. I love it! Congratulations on your SUPER three cent piece. Way too cool for sure! Need a babysitter.............I'll be right over. :) Just wait till they're up and running. HH, Nancy
